Born in New York City, Ray Goren became a virtuoso on guitar and synthesizers. After moving to California, he spent his teenage years playing regularly in venues throughout the state. Ray turned his focus to songwriting and producing. He was mentored in songwriting by Leon Russell and worked in the studio extensively with legendary producer Eddie Kramer, who took Ray under his wing.  In his late teens Ray spent significant time working with Grammy Award winning producer Brendon O’Brien, with legendary drummer and Grammy Award winning producer Steve Jordan and more recently with Adam Friedman (Mike Posner, Tai Verdes). Ray has also played guitar, bass, and keyboards on dozens of released tracks. Ray’s own artistry has also enabled him to become a sharp lyricist and songwriter. Recent releases include Bebe Rexha’s “Heart Wants What It Wants” and GoldKimono “Lost Inside my Head.”
