Work of Art Music Publishing was launched in 2018 by David Massey and Clio Massey, with a focus on songwriter and artist development. Early signings included JP Saxe, whose song “If The World Was Ending” featuring Julia Michaels was GRAMMY-nominated for Song Of The Year in 2021, and Whitney Phillips who co-wrote Justin Bieber & Ariana Grande’s “Stuck With U,” which debuted at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100. The roster also includes songwriters/producers Adam Friedman (Mike Posner, Tai Verdes), Neek (24kGoldn, Kid Laroi, Juice WRLD), and Mary Weitz (Normani, Fletcher, Remi Wolf, Alina Baraz) as well as artists Medium Build, Ari Abdul, and carolesdaughter.

Work of Art Management was also formed by David Massey, alongside the publishing company.

Both companies are based in New York City and Los Angeles.
