Adriana Caldas de Barros is an artist, songwriter & producer currently living in Portugal and who makes electronic pop under the name Nana Lourdes. In 2020, she began releasing her first singles, which immediately received attention for their effortlessly catchy melodies, psychedelic synths, and sparkly 2000s pop inspired production. Her music has been featured on Spotify playlists Anti Pop, All New Indie, Fresh Finds and Lorem and on Apple Music’s New In Indie, INDIY, and Indie Electronic. Nana is currently releasing her debut album Wyoming, a concept record about a toxic romance that serves as an analogy for the addictive nature of celebrity culture. The record was fully written, produced, and mixed by Nana.
Simultaneously, Nana has also started writing and producing for other artists. She wants to push the boundaries of pop by blending two worlds of sound: commercial pop and alternative music. Nana co-produced & co-wrote the track “don’t touch!” off of Tai Verdes sophomore album HDTV. She also takes frequent trips to Los Angeles and has worked with artists such as Billy Lemos, Sycco, Magdalena Bay, Miya Folick, & Luna Li to name a few.
